Our Story

Orbit World Travel began in 2001, and is now New Zealand’s largest travel management company. With nine New Zealand offices, five in Australia, an office in London, and consultants dotted around the world, Orbit has you covered no matter where you are travelling. Orbit World Travel is an industry leader with annual sales of over $500 million and over 1,000 clients spanning across a large range of sectors and industries.

We may have grown, but it doesn’t mean we’re too big to care. Loyalty is at the heart of who we are, and we’re proud to call ourselves 100 per cent Kiwi.

Our Growth

We’ve come a long way since 2001. Today we have over 300 staff, nine New Zealand offices, five in Australia, and an afterhours team in London. We’ve experienced significant growth in our industry alliances and the scale of our preferred partners, ​reflecting our strong performance and position in the market.

With over 1,000 clients across a wide range of industries, in both the public and private sector, our growth is based on always being focused on the client – not as a transaction, but as a total experience. Many of our clients have been with us for more than 10 years (some for over 20!), so we must be doing something right.

We Cover the World

Orbit World Travel has nine offices in New Zealand, located in Auckland, Albany, Hamilton, Tauranga, Palmerston North, Wellington, Nelson, Christchurch, and Dunedin. We also have an office in London where our afterhours staff are based, a unique solution where Kiwi staff in London respond to afterhours calls as part of their normal working day.

We love being Kiwi owned and operated, but our operations go well beyond New Zealand – with five Orbit offices in Australia, an afterhours office in London, consultants dotted around the world and a global partnership.
